We believe that life should be lived in its highest form. Not everyone is an elite athlete, but everyone can benefit from showing up as the best version of themselves – physically, emotionally, relationally, mentally, and spiritually (PERMS, as we say).

Laird Hamilton and Gabby Reece developed XPT out of a passion for pushing the limits of human performance in life and sport. Our system’s origin can be traced back to Laird’s exploration of various breathing techniques and of carrying stones underwater. Those practices, researched and guided by various domain leaders, and tested over the years on the planet’s highest performing people, have since expanded into a holistic and innovative approach to human optimization.
